Marco Wiederkehr of Liechtenstein and Moa Kvarfordh of Sweden won the Swedish event of the 2006 World Cup of Speed Skydiving July 7-9 over Gryttjom, Sweden. Wiederkehr won with a meet result (3 fastest jumps of 6) of 476,99 km/h (296,45 mph). Moa Kvarfordh won with a meet result of 351,21 km/h (218,28 mph).

Wiederkehr set a new DZ record, both with his meet result, and with his fastest jump - 477,73 km/h (296,91 mph) - beating english skydiver Mark Callands two year old record.

Arnold Hohenegger of Austria finished second setting a new austrian record on the way with 453,56 km/h (281,89 mph). Nico Emanuelsson of Sweden finished third in the 10 person strong field.

Olli Eerola of Finland set a new finish record for a single jump with 410.92 km/h (255,39 mph).

Kvarfordh was the only woman to enter the event as Eliisa Nikula of Finland had to cancel due to an ankle fracture, and Maria Sundesten of Sweden was out with a neck injury.
